In June 2020, the Fair Work Commission announced a 1.75% increase to minimum wages. This increase will apply to all award wages. The increase to award rates is taking place in three groups during
2020-21. Group 1 increases were effective 1 July 2020, with group 2 (see list below) being effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 November 2020.
